Scope and content

The minutes include a tribute to Ian Phillips by Colin Oliver soon after his death. Tom Lupton, who accepted the role of chairman, passed on a suggestion by Jack Pritchard that "the Trustees arrange a social gathering at a later date in memory of Ian [Phillips]."

The minutes also include a discussion concerning the launch of Harry Rée's book on Henry Morris. Jack Howe, Henry Moore and Jack Pritchard are to be asked for ideas concerning the cover, illustrations and photographs.
