Scope and content

Pulham offers Kandya Ltd as a "guinea pig" for an exploration into the possibility of rationalisation in the furniture industry, an industry made up of many small firms. The need for rationalisation and technical development has been recognised by the Furniture Development Council, the British Furniture Manufacturers Federated Associations, and the National Union of Furniture Trade Operatives.
