Leigh refers to the Café Royal lunch which saw the demise of the [Furniture Development Council] and believes that the Furniture Industry Research Association will have a tough time in the current period of economic recession. However, sufficient reserves are held to enable the F.I.R.A to carry on at a loss for a period. Leigh is delighted that Pritchard has found a firm to take over manufacture of the long chair and says Gordon Russell Ltd will assist Windmill Furniture in any way possible. Mentions Donald Heughan.
