Cripps makes a number of points regarding the work of the Furniture Working Party, of which Dalgleish is chairman. The working party is free to set up sub-groups and write interior reports, but should not investigate matters dealt with by employers federations and trade unions and should restrict itself to that part of the industry dealing with domestic furniture made of wood.
