Runciman, Walter Leslie, recipient
Pritchard reminds Runciman that they met at Cambridge [University in the 1920s] and informs him that Philip Harben, who has told Pritchard he has taken a job in Imperial Airways, ran a restaurant for Pritchard very successfully. Given the chance, Pritchard believes, Harben can do the same for Runciman and help his hotels and restaurants gain a reputation for good food and wine at reasonable prices, "in contrast to the reputation of the English Railways." Pritchard congratulates Runciman on his choice and commends Harben to him.
