Hargreaves encloses a letter from a one-man brewer, J.W. Gurney, who makes Rowsham Ale at Rowsham near Aylesbury [PP/17/2/3/10]. Hargreaves suggests Harben might want to try it out in the Isobar. It can only be had in the homes of Vale of Aylesbury farmers since the Crown in Aylesbury was demolished and is very highly thought of by many people. Hargreaves gives directions in case Harben and Jack [Pritchard] want to visit Gurney.
