Graw understands Purves wishes to join the [Isobar]. Although membership has exceeded the Founder Class, Purves can be admitted under the old subscription rate of 5/- rather than 10/6. Graw explains that the [Isobar's] object is to serve good food at a reasonable price along with a selection of interesting beers and points out that foreign newspapers are available.
