Refers to the present state of Lawn Road Flats being due to the lack of maintenance during and after the war, the reduced estimate for the flats when built resulting in the use of `Macasfelt' rather than asphalt on the roof, and the fact that Coates' recommendations remedies for the problems were not carried out. Coates explains that he cannot send Terry a copy of the RIBA form of contract but it can be seen at his office. Enclosed with [PP/16/3/3/544 and PP/16/3/3/546].
