This contains material relating to the Lawn Road Flats Scheme and the plans made for three other proposed schemes which were never built. They were the Windsor Flats Scheme (St Leonards Hill, Windsor), Manchester Flats Scheme (Lymdale, Manchester) and Birmingham Flats Scheme (Selly Oaks, Birmingham).
Included are documents concerning the planning, design, finance and construction of Lawn Road Flats, correspondence relating to the maintenance, repair and daily administration of the estate, individual flats and tenancies, correspondence regarding the sale of Lawn Road Flats in 1968 to The New Statesman. Publicity materials, photographs and press cuttings relating to the Lawn Road Flats Scheme are also included.
