Lawn Road Flats -- Tenants
Nine copies. The memorandum serves to provide a short history on Lawn Road Flats. The idea behind the flats is discussed, its design and architect, the Dorland Hall Exhibition which attracted finance from prospective tenants, the interests of past tenants, the affect of the war, the Isobar Club room and restaurant which became "La Potiniere". The state of maintenance is mentioned and that Lawn Road Flats was awarded second prize in the "Ugliest Building" competition. Extracts from tenants' views on the flats are included.
