Scope and content

Explains that the leak in the circulating pump gland in the furnace room is to be expected, it is collected in a bucket and the porter should empty it. The main leak through the floor is of concern as the boiler house floor and walls were lined with a waterproof compound. It will be taken up with the guarantor. The different departments of the London County Council are discussed and their responsibilities to Lawn Road Flats. Messrs James Combe & Son, Heating Engineers, are changing the heating panels to the roof flat. This procedure is described.
