Jack Pritchard discusses the causes and influences, "the exciting days as [he] saw them," includes Village Colleges and Henry Morris, Walter Gropius and the Bauhaus, Isokon Furniture Company, Marcel Breuer and Harry Mansell, the Isokon Long chair and the Penguin Donkey. Jack Pritchard also discusses education and calls for closer collaboration between art and science in education. Lecture probably given in conjunction with the "1930's" RCA exhibition at the Hayward Gallery, 1979-1980.
