Draft, annotated, typed copy of a lecture given by Jack Pritchard [at the Internation Congress of Furniture Manufacturers of the Union EuropeƩnne de l'Ameublement in Stockholm]. "It is concerned with the influence on the shape of furniture by those who have applied systematic thought - scientific thought - in the broadest sense". Jack Pritchard "gives examples of a few new materials that have had an effect on the design of furniture".
