Swedish-English Literary Translators' Association
SELTA is a professional association of translators from Swedish into English, established in 1981.
For PC’s memoir article, published in the SELTA journal ‘Swedish Book Review’ see PC/18.
Series PC/9 includes:
A copy of Tom Geddes’ article on the first 25 years of SELTA (1981-2006). Geddes was the founding secretary-general of SELTA.
Meeting agendas, minutes and correspondence. From 1988-1990 there is discussion of a proposal for a Swedish-English literary translation prize which was to be known as the Bernard Shaw Prize.
