In ‘A Passion for Translation’ (PC/18/4/10) PC remarks: “One of the most exciting periods I experienced in F.I.T. was as a member of the small team that fought its way through the meeting of the UNESCO Committee of Experts in Paris, to achieve in 1976 the signing of the ‘Nairobi Recommendation’ for the legal protection of translators.”
