Card, 29/10/17. MS. Maule is fascinated by LC’s detailed knowledge and always wonders how on earth the situation can be resolved in Reacher’s favour. Maule thinks that the premis in chapter 20 of ‘Killing Floor’ is doubtful. “The ‘Pluribus’ (being ablative case in Latin) is governed by the ‘E’ and when the words are reversed, the ends should be changed, as then ‘Pluribus’ would become ‘Plures’ as it is no longer governed by the ‘E’.”
