Letter, [2007?]. MS. Deanie suggests LC call the armadillo Tex for short. “You can stick him on the side of your computer and the words will come.” As it’s illegal to send liquor out of Texas she sends him picante sauce and salsa, made in Texas, “Get some chips and dip. I hope you enjoy it.”
Letter, 1/3/2009. MS. With envelope and press cutting of a cartoon. Deanie has a new dog ‘Fielder’. She is pleased LC never gets writer’s block (the cartoon has a cemetery headstone with inscription “…UH…”)
