Carroll Heidemann (Wis.)
2012
Letter, 5/11/2012. TS. With envelope. Carol enjoys LC’s books and has just read ‘A Wanted Man’. Reacher had no patience with people who thought that Y was a vowel. Carol suggests it is, sometimes.
She points out that the phrase “like teaching Hindu to a beagle” is incorrect. “No, no! That would be like teaching Christian to a cat!”. Hindi (with an ‘i’ is the language).
She believed the preferred wording is “a hundred one” and not “a hundred and one”.
