Scott Hartley (Conn.)
Railways -- United States
Letter, 14/1/2016. TS. With envelope. Having just read ‘Make Me’, Scott offers to provide fact-checking to LC’s future accounts of railroad services and operations. He points out that “Oklahoma City has no passenger service to the north (i.e. into wheat growing regions). Its only train is a daily round trip south to Fort Worth and back. The Oklahoma City train station is unattended, and is open for passengers to wait for just two hours before the departure and arrival of each train. Probably not a place where Mr. Keever could buy newspapers from other cities!”
