Giselle sends a poster designed by her 10 year old son Edward, a keen reader of LC’s books. This was a homework project to design a jacket for a favourite book.
Letter, 16/1/2002. TS. With portrait school photo of Edward. Edward Finn writes to LC. Edward thanks LC for the photo, letter and jacket covers. He apologises for the slow reply as he’s been quite busy. His mum had just finished ‘Killing Floor’ and found some parts quite disgusting. Edward is quite interested in the police. He enjoys Reacher’s involvement with them (and the F.B.I.) “and I like the gun parts too!” He writes “If you are ever coming to this country to do book signings or anything, it would be good if you could let me know.” His teacher was not impressed with the poster he designed of LC’s book, her only comment being that she thought the background was good.
