Letter, 19/8/2011. Vila loved every one of LC’s Reacher books expect for number 16. It’s been a sad start to her day finding out that Tom Cruise is to play Reacher. “Were you looking for a dwarf? How will he fight as Reacher, standing on a box or having two men hold him up?” She will not be watching the film, fearing it may turn him off Reacher.
