025 is an undated letter from Lessing to Burkeman complaining about the choice of cover photograph for Under My Skin. Enclosed is a letter for Proffitt and Mandy Kirkby of Harper Collins outlining her problems with the choice of photograph. She describes the chosen photograph as "glamour puss" and talks about the use of sex in sales and marketing. She suggests photographs of herself at 4, 14 and as an adult behind a typewriter – "a simple, honest, straightforward picture". She states that she must take her cat to the vet.

026 is an undated letter from Lessing to Burkeman, referring to the same photograph controversy as 025. She states that Proffitt and she have discussed the photograph, and the issue is settled in Proffitt's favour. "Mad. Mad. O.K. IT'S SETTLED." She states that her cat has cancer.

027 is a fax from the theatre school at DePaul University to Jonathan Clowes asking for permission to perform a stage adaptation of The Marriages Between Zones Three, Four and Five.
