Dickens, Monica
Monica Dickens (1914-1992) published more than 30 volumes of fiction, as well as autobiography, children’s books, journalism and literary criticism. She “was one of the two or three best-selling woman’s novelists of her generation” (The Independent 31/12/92) and the great granddaughter of the writer Charles Dickens.
