Raymond R. Wong (City Editor, Hongkong Standard) asks that his admiration for AG be conveyed to him, along with the pleasure expressed by staff at the Hongkong Standard on the news of his release. "As fellow newsmen, we admire very much Mr Grey's intestinal fortitude to endure this grossly inhumane treatment for the past 26 months. And we hope and pray that no government, of whatever political persuasion, will ever resort to such dastardly deed against an innocent person whose professional calling has placed him in such a vulnerable position."
