Scope and content

File SZ/ZOO/11/53 contains a small quantity of items that appear to have been gathered together for a piece on the history of the ZSL. As well as extracts from 19th Century Minutes of Council, it contains two foolscap plans of proposed improvements to the gardens at Regent's Park, dated 1929, and a copy of the official Guide to the Gardens by Sir Peter Chalmers Mitchell, also dated 1929 (see also File SZ/ZOO/12/11).
