SZ agrees that Holford and O'Brien [from the Rockefeller Foundation] should attend the next Tots and Quots meeting. SZ was sorry to hear about Miss Frost's illness and he hoped that Allen Lane would send Carter the necessary cheques. He also agrees with Darlington's suggestion that [Frank] Yates be paid a proportionate sum of the profits for his contribution [to the book entitled 'Science in war'].
