SZ confirms that the MRC's reception for his programme of splinter wound work "was anything but encouraging." He lists the MRC's objections and says that, as a result, his current work is not covered by either the MRC or the CDRC. SZ believes there is a good deal of confusion and dispute between the MRC and people who are actually working on splinter wounds. And if the attitudes of individuals on the MRC War Wounds committee, such as Pilcher and Colebrook, is anything to go by there is even difference of opinion within the Committee itself. Mentions Ka Tansley.
