Gainsborough says he is not particularly interested in splinter wounds but when Bernal complained of a lack of co-operation from clinicians he decided to help. However, none of his current patients is a splinter wound case, although he does have an interesting blast case. Gainsborough would like a clearer definition of splinter if he is to provide information.
