SZ understands from Pilcher and Green that the sub-committee which discussed SZ's proposals for splinter investigations will suggest to the War Wounds Committee that the results are important. SZ did however find the meeting "obstructive", and his suspicion that the committee is only really interested in wound infection has been increased. Pilcher was sympathetic to SZ's plans and expressed his interest. SZ wonders whether he ought to join a RSM committee investigating protective clothing. Surgeon Rear-Admiral Gordon Taylor is on that committee.
