The paper aims to discover the relation between safety and cost in various types of housing so the effect of adding protective measures can be gauged. The vulnerable areas of different types of housing is calculated and the vulnerable area related to cost. Individual buildings behave differently when attacked and it is only through a knowledge of that behaviour that protective measures can be implemented most effectively.
