Scope and content

Discusses a misunderstanding which arose over Douglas, Blake, and Rowse's interest in shelter behaviour. SZ explains his belief that more general population behaviour (cinema attendance, evacuation figures) could also be collected and related to differential risk rates in various boroughs. So far only a sample of shelter occupancy in Lewisham has been taken but the enquiry can be extended.
