Scope and content

A study of this kind is suggested in order to prove scientifically that cross-channel shell fire has caused relatively few casualties, as is believed. The study would also enable the vulnerable area of the shells to be determined. In the case of aircraft and cannon fire the study would provide a picture of the dispersal of fire, again useful for determining vulnerable areas.
