World War, 1939-1945 -- Psychological aspects
Reports the results of a survey to obtain first-hand accounts of soldiers' reactions to various enemy weapons which had been used against them. The questionnaire given to the men forms appendix A. The paper shows that there is no correlation between the dislike of a weapon and the likelihood of being wounded by it, nor does the tendency to dislike a weapon depend on being injured by it. Paper tries to explain the reasons for the dislike of certain weapons.
