Scope and content

SZ comments on notes on casualties in the Admiralty. He notes that most casualties were due to violent displacements. The observations made in H.M.S. "Pelican" differ considerably from those made in other ships. SZ is doubtful that some "extra springing" to the men's feet would significantly reduce the number or severity of injuries to which they are exposed.
