Photograph shows a limb still attached to artificial hip joint and stakes, after an explosion had taken place. The freedom shoe was blown off and is seen in the background. The steel weights, which resembled the inertia of the body, were blown down onto the ground. The boot on the limb and the clothing were undamaged.
