"Equivalent static pressures and suctions have been claculated [sic] for the blast in the blast tunnel from 6 cu. ft. of electrolytic gas as a function of the frequency of any system on which the blast may act. It has been shown that the blast produced in the blast tunnel from a balloon has about the same equivalent static pressure and suction as the blast from a 500 lb. medium case bomb in open air when the maximum positive pressure is the same, provided the system on which they act has a frequency greater than 70 cycles per second."
