Fragmentation trials were carried out with different lengths of mild steel casing, 0.30 in. thick and 1.25 in. internal diameter. The results indicate a possible small increase in fineness of fragmentation as the length of casing is increased from 1.9 to 3.8 in. but further increase of length has no appreciable effect on the weight distribution. Tables and graphs are included.
