"The distribution of fragments by weight can be expressed by a simple equation which has been found to apply to shells and bombs of different materials and with different explosive fillings and E/C/ ratios. A still simpler expression enables the percentage distribution by weight to be calculated from a knowledge of a single fragmentation constant with all but the thinnest bomb casings." Tables are included.
