Curves are given for movement, velocity and accelerations of surface shelters, and the behaviour of the shelters is discussed. The data have been obtained from a study of the slow motion cine films of the shelter trials. The results indicated that the movement of the shelter is determined by: an initial impulse; a constant pressure, acting on the edge nearest to the bomb; the rotational velocity; and the gravitational acceleration.
