Scope and content

SZ is still not convinced that Latner's work on decompression is ready for publication. Detailed work has been carried out by the Air Ministry and the Flying Personnel Research Committee which given the nature of the work cannot be published openly. This work has gone far beyond Latner's, so publishing Latner's work would be pointless. The best course would be to present his paper as a secret report to the CDRC rathe than publish in the `Lancet'. Mentions de Burgh Daly.
