Tests were carried out to discover the behaviour of the latest design of surface shelter when subjected to a 250 kg bomb, and the efficacy of various methods of strengthening brick shelters. Contains a table listing the cost of strengthening different types of shelter. The paper concludes that the latest design of shelter is satisfactory. Includes plans of shelters and five leaves of photographs taken after the explosion.
