The resistance of various cellulose acetate plastics to penetration by 3/32 in. steel ball was determined at 0 [degrees] C. and at room temperature (15 [degrees] C.). Two types of cellulose acetate showed an appreciable increase in the resistance to perforation at 0 [degrees] C., but there was little change in other cases. Graphs and tables are included.

Report to the Ministry of Home Security.
