SZ gives his thoughts on an RRL paper for the MRC on blast pressure and shock sustained in a pill-box. SZ believes the figure in the pill-box would have been directly injured by the blast in addition to sustaining burst ear-drums. The displacement involved would not have been sufficient to cause concussion, unless the figure fell as a result.
