Underwater explosions -- Physiological effect
May, R., recipient
SZ discusses in detail the positioning of a person in water in relation to the effects felt from a depth charge. He favours floating on the back and explains that when a depth charge goes off, the pressure at any point on the surface is practically zero, and increases with increasing depth from the surface. SZ is in the process of carrying out experiments with mice and hopes to supply photographs showing the effects.
