Scope and content

SZ had to cancel a trip to the United States. He describes his work at the O.E.M.U. which includes: the air-raid casualty survey; the investigation into body armour; work on the penetration of fragments; blast experiments relating to land mines and water blast; and the completion of a study on the wounding power of debris. In addition, SZ is completing reports on material he collected in the Mediterranean. This includes a casualty survey report by Palmer on the Cassino battle, and the Rapido River crossing.
