Fulton had not heard from Bernal. He still wished SZ to visit. Fulton thanks SZ for a valuable report on body armour. A resumé on body armour is published in `Bulletin on Wound Ballistics'. Nothing practical had materialised regarding the field research on wound ballistics, although the Air Forces regularly brought back casualties who should be studied. Details of a broadcast to be made by Fulton on "international co-operation in wartime science" are given. This broadcast would reach Britain 22:00 on Christmas Eve.
