Fulton congratulates SZ on the F.R.S.. Fulton describes a meeting of the trustees of the Institute [of Advanced Study] with Veblen and Mr B[amberger] present. Veblen's work in the development of the experimental ballistics lab in World War I is mentioned. Fulton adds that SZ, in his last letter, wrote that he would be enclosing something, but did not.
