Underwater explosions
Zuckerman, Solly, 1904-1993 recipient
Further comments on Walter Miles' visit to England. The establishment of fundamental studies on blast is slow. It is hoped that a department in the United States would be set up, similar to that of Stradling's in England. Autopsy data on cases of death from water blast had been received. Further information on water blast was hoped to be shared. Mention is made of SZ's review of the Carnegie monograph on the embryology of the macaque, and Burn being in Washington as liaison officer of the Medical Research Council.
