Describes at length how best to send reports to Washington. Fifty thousand air raid wardens are training in Massachusetts and 30,000 in Connecticut. SZ is asked for information on air raid warden casualties, and how to deal with incendiaries.

Fulton mentions having met Stan Berlin, and he remarks on Erica Bowen. Dorothy Wrinch's work on shock is described. A conference on the adrenal cortical hormone in relation to medical defence had raised interest, and SZ is asked if he would be interested in carrying out tests.
