Report on an eight week visit which included the Western Desert, Canal Zone and Palestine. The facts were gathered by personal observation and interviews. The subjects covered are body protection; physical efficiency of tank crews, airborne and parachute troops; clothing and equipment of British troops; disease in the Middle East; wound infection and chemotherapy; night vision; nutrition; psychological problems; problems relating to heat; and medical literature in the Middle East.
